About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible administrator to provide a professional administrative support service to the Rehabilitation Engineering Service (RES) at Sussex Community.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for any communication/correspondence relevant to the RES and will work independently and collaboratively with all members of the RES, other clinical staff, and administrators at Sussex Community.

The role involves maintaining the RES database, raising orders and approving invoices, and dealing with financial queries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office systems, and the ability to work within boundaries of the role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the RES database and raising IT support requests if necessary
  • Raising orders and approving invoices and dealing with any financial queries
  • Organising workload and prioritising tasks to achieve set time scales
  • Attending team meetings and contributing to the development of efficient systems for processing workloads

Person Specification:

  • Experience of using a PC and Microsoft Windows packages
  • Experience of accurate data inputting and using databases
  • Previous secretarial/administration and finance experience
  • Good written, verbal & communication skills/Experience in raising orders & approving invoices
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting
