Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Holiday Inn Express. This role requires providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  2. Check guests in and out of the hotel, collecting all necessary information accurately.
  3. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with professionalism.
  4. Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  5. Manage phone calls with excellent communication skills.
  6. Maintain a reception area and ensure front desk operations run smoothly.
  7. Assist with billing inquiries and process payments accurately.
  8. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or guest services role is preferred.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and billing processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
