Estimated Salary:

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during night shifts. This includes receiving a hand-over from the Duty Manager, providing a warm welcome to guests, dealing with guest enquiries effectively, and ensuring accurate guest billing and payment on departure.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work night shifts on a rota basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure night service is dealt with efficiently
  • Provide a warm welcome to guests and deal with guest enquiries effectively
  • Ensure accurate guest billing and payment on departure
  • Complete night audit functions accurately and on time
  • Lock hotel entrances and follow night security measures for staff and guest safety
  • Communicate effectively with the Front Office team and wider hotel team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hotel operations management role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work night shifts on a rota basis
  • Experience of using a Front Office Management system
