About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Coalville. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating and developing business to new and existing customers through sales of IT hardware, software, MSP professional services, and Helpdesk Support contracts.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in IT sales and be able to drive sales success. You will be responsible for identifying and generating new prospects, converting them into key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet daily and monthly targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Generate own sales pipeline through cold calling and lead generation
  • Attend vendor-led training courses and local networking events

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience within an IT reseller and good understanding and knowledge of the IT industry
  • Previous experience of consulting with clients over the phone
  • Strong sales, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and budget resources to meet assigned quotas

Compensation:

  • £30k basic salary with an uncapped commission plan (estimated OTE £70k +)
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm working hours
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
