Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Compliance Oversight at Howden Group Holdings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong background in compliance and risk management to take on a key leadership role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust compliance frameworks and methodologies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and oversee compliance projects, providing timely and relevant management information to senior management.
  • Collaborate with our Risk Management Function to identify and mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior operational management and external regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to the development of our Compliance Plan, ensuring it remains aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in compliance and risk management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide timely and relevant management information.
  • Industry-recognized compliance qualifications, such as the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), are highly desirable.
