About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Head of Compliance Monitoring. As a leading recruitment agency, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and integrity. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team and ensure that our operations remain consistently compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals to ensure effective oversight of all compliance activities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance monitoring programs to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to senior management and staff.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and findings to the Board of Directors.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure our compliance framework remains robust and effective.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in policy advisory/monitoring/remediation/assurance across different aspects of financial services/financial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements specifically relating to health, benefits, and life products, within both ICOBs and COBs.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to investment, pension, and mortgage products.
  • Strong experience of developing monitoring frameworks.
  • Leading a compliance team.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
