Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Business Partner to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our Senior Finance Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our commercial interests across assigned business divisions/segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to drive commercial growth and profitability.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the maximization of shareholder value.
  • Financial Performance
    • Deliver overall financial performance, including revenue, profit, and expense budgets.
    • Ensure robust financial reporting, including results, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Commercial Relationships
    • Negotiate and manage relationships with major suppliers and customers to maximize commercial impact.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive operational efficiencies and increase annual Free Cash Flow.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead the development of alternative commercially viable propositions to stimulate profitable growth.
    • Provide governance and support to sales and operational development plans/teams/projects.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Recognized Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, ACMA, ICAEW).
    • Bachelor's Degree level education.
  • Experience
    • 5-10 years of related experience in a commercial or financial role.
    • Proven track record of driving commercial growth and profitability.
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrable ability to influence and develop employees to achieve objectives.
