Job Title: Care Manager for Foster Families

About the Role:

The Polaris Community is seeking a skilled Social Work professional to lead our foster care team in Northern Ireland. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for supporting foster families and their children to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular supervision and guidance to foster parents to ensure they are equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
  • Work closely with the family to identify needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Ensure compliance with key documentation and attend meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.

Benefits:

  • Company car or £2,000 car allowance.
  • 30 days' annual leave, rising to 35 days with length of service.
  • Life assurance and company pension.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
