Total Care Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specialising in social care roles. We are currently seeking an experienced Care and Contact Professional to join our team in the Belfast area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality supervised contact for children and families involved with Children Services. This will involve well-planned contact which focuses on the child's security and promotes their physical, emotional and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting birth and foster parents to engage in appropriate contact and family support activities
  • Providing a wide range of support services to families and children
  • Transporting children and young people to contact with parents and supervising such arrangements when required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI Check
  • Hold a full clean driving license with business insurance
  • Have a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3, Health and Social Care or equivalent) plus 6 months experience or HNC/HND in a relevant subject with one year experience
Benefits
