We are seeking a highly motivated Family Liaison Specialist to join our team in the Belfast area.

The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, providing high-quality supervised contact for children and families involved with Children Services. The primary role will be to facilitate well-planned contact that prioritizes the child's security and promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

A key aspect of this position is supporting birth and foster parents in engaging with appropriate contact and family support activities. You will also be responsible for:

  • Making contact with and providing a wide range of support services to families and children.
  • Transporting children and young people to contact with parents and supervising such arrangements when required.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI Check.
  • Hold a full clean driving license with business insurance.
  • Have either NVQ Level 3, Health and Social Care or relevant equivalent qualification plus 6 months relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, hold HNC/HND in a relevant subject or relevant equivalent qualification, plus one year's relevant experience.
