Family Care Specialist

As a Family Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families in need. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting social workers in assessing the needs of families, implementing child care plans, and undertaking direct work with children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with social workers to assess the needs of families and develop child care plans.
- To undertake direct work with children and young people, including facilitating supervised family time/contact arrangements.
- To support parents, children, and young people in developing confidence and self-esteem.
- To contribute to parenting programmes (individual and group work).
Requirements:
- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject or an educational-related subject, along with 1 year of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- OR Level 2 qualification in a care-related or educational-related subject, along with 2 years of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- OR 4 years of experience working with families/children in a formal setting.
- A valid driving license and access to a car.
Estimated Salary: £31.15 per hour,
