About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Specialist to join our team at Crossroads Care NI.

As a key member of our team, you will provide personalized care and support to vulnerable adults and children in their own homes.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality care services, including sitting services, befriending, and accompanying clients on outings, while promoting socialization and independence.

You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to understand individual needs and develop tailored care plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will also be required to administer or assist with medication, serve meals, and maintain accurate records of client care.

This is a casual position, requiring flexibility and availability to work at least one shift per week.

A full driving license, valid insurance (business use), and the use of a car are essential for this role, as you will need to travel to visit clients.

The successful candidate will undergo an Access NI enhanced disclosure check and register with NISCC.

What We Offer

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.50, plus mileage allowance of 25p per mile (up to £1 per hour).

You will also have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and their families.
