About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Form F Assessor to join our team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our National Assessment Service, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and timely Form F Assessments, ensuring that potential Foster Carers receive high-quality support throughout their application process.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the National Fostering Group, the UK's largest independent fostering family. Our dedicated fostering community provides short or long-term foster placements for thousands of vulnerable children and teenagers throughout the UK. With a strong focus on providing excellence in quality placements, we require experienced and self-motivated professionals like yourself to join our team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Form F Assessments, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry standards
  • Support potential Foster Carers throughout their application, providing guidance and resources as needed
  • Collaborate with our National Assessment Service to ensure high-quality supervision, support, induction, and access to training

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW or CQSW or equivalent)
  • Current registration with the relevant Social Work regulatory council (e.g. Social Work England/Wales, NISCC, SSSC)
  • Experienced in carrying out Form F Assessments

Salary:

£28-38 per hour, depending on experience.
