As a Foster Carer Assessment Specialist with the National Fostering Agency Group, you will have the opportunity to work independently in assessing potential Foster Carers across Northern Ireland. You will conduct high-quality assessments, provide excellent support, and ensure that children and young people receive the best possible care.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Social Worker (DipSW or CQSW or equivalent) with current registration with relevant Social Work regulatory councils. They should possess experience in carrying out Form F Assessments and be able to work independently, to a high standard, and within given time scales.

You will be required to support potential Foster Carers throughout their application, working closely with them to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide a stable and nurturing environment for children and young people.

We estimate an annual salary of £30,000 - £40,000 based on location and experience, which reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the welfare of vulnerable children and young people.
