AECOM is a global leader in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions. We're seeking an experienced Ecological Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile marine ecology projects.

About the Job:

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing technical expertise and guidance on ecological impact assessments and permitting applications.

You will have the chance to collaborate with specialists in underwater acoustics, coastal processes, water scientists, and marine archaeologists to improve environmental outcomes for our clients.

The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical ecological advice and guidance on project deliverables
  • Manage inputs to various workstreams and deliverables across a range of projects
  • Develop and review specialist technical chapters and impact assessments
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and submit licence applications

We are looking for someone with comprehensive ecological expertise, a recognised degree in a relevant discipline, and professional membership or eligibility for membership (CIEEM or similar).
