Job Summary

A prestigious public sector organisation in the Chester area is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the wider HR team and partner with various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day HR operational issues, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and managing case work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a small team to deliver a highly competent and professional HR service.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, as a trusted partner in all HR and business issues.
  3. Manage case work and provide advice and coaching in respect of employee relations, contractual and policy matters.
  4. Provide proactive and professional HR advice on the full range of people issues.
  5. Assist in the development of recruitment and succession plans for all areas of the organisation.
  6. Support the planning and implementation of organisational design and change programmes.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
  2. Confidence and experience in dealing with complex Employee Relations casework.
  3. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider HR team.
