Job Overview

Medlock Partners is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing strategic HR advice and guidance to senior stakeholders, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior managers, employees, and trade union representatives. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in this role.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior managers, employees, and trade union representatives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees to support their career growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • CIPD qualifications or equivalent.
