We are currently seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Specialist to support our Senior Management Team in maintaining a robust governance framework aligned with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will provide Company Secretary duties for the Governing Committee, ensure adherence to governance standards, and manage our Awards and Grants Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Governance Administration: Assist the CEO and Senior Management Team in maintaining a strong governance framework, preparing meeting agendas, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Committee Management and Administration: Coordinate committee meetings, including agenda setting, minute-taking, and follow-up actions, ensuring effective operation of governance processes within AMEE.
- Awards and Grants Programme Management: Oversee our Awards and Grants Programme, ensuring transparent processes, alignment with strategic objectives, and compliance with governance and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive administrative experience, preferably in governance or compliance-focused roles, with proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills. A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity is essential, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
We offer a competitive salary of £37,000 FTE, 5% pension contribution, one day paid volunteering day each calendar year, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and membership of Medicash.
