Job Overview
The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to fill the role of Governance and Risk Midwife. As a key member of the Maternity Services team, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering the national and local patient safety agendas, as well as ensuring compliance with the governance assurance framework.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate, develop, and coordinate clinical risk management within the Directorate
- Foster a fair blame culture in line with corporate objectives, resulting in high-quality, cost-effective service delivery
- Promote a positive learning environment where lessons are learnt, and changes implemented

Requirements
- Registered Midwife qualification
- Recognised teaching/assessing qualification or equivalent
- Extensive experience as a registered midwife
- Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development to Degree level

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
