Job Overview:

Venn Group is recruiting for a Senior Planning Lawyer to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time (or part-time) position where you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on planning, development, highways, and corporate governance matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on planning and development matters.
  • Negotiate complex projects with various stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clients to meet their legal needs.
  • Support junior team members in their development.
  • Deliver training to clients to enhance their knowledge.
  • Manage internal practice systems for compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Significant experience in planning law.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Leadership Abilities: Experience in mentoring, supervising, or managing legal staff.
  • Proactive Mindset: Keen eye for identifying business development opportunities.
  • Qualifications: Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent, with a focus on planning law.
