About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Governance and Compliance to join our team at Psychiatry UK. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing digital healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and management of the organisation's Information Governance Framework, using the ICO Accountability Tracker and NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit as a basis. They will also oversee the Health Records Team and support public authorities in responding to Freedom of Information Requests.

We offer a competitive salary of £**60,000 - £80,000** per annum, plus a £1,000 home-working allowance. The role is based in the UK, with flexible working arrangements and regular meetings with colleagues from various locations.

About You:

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting in a Lead Information Governance role
  • Strong technical background with experience of Cyber security management
  • Effective line manager with ability to undertake regular 1-2-1s with staff, conduct appraisals and manage performance effectively
