Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Financial Crime Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the data we use within Financial Crime conforms to our data governance framework.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team using innovative methods to drive a data-driven culture. As a Data Governance Specialist, you'll be the person who ensures data quality and supports the Data Steward for Financial Crime, championing our data culture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of data governance frameworks and industry best practice. They should possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to tailor communication to different audiences, and build credibility with stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Support in continually assessing our adherence to the Society's Data Governance Framework.
  • Making recommendations for improvements in our data controls and implementing these in a sustainable way.
  • Using experience with data controls, such as data lineage mapping and data quality outputs.
