Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our team at Psychiatry UK. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing digital healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Information Governance Agenda across the organisation, ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance standards are met. They will also lead on the completion of the mandatory annual organisational submission to the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

We offer a competitive salary of £**60,000 - £80,000** per annum, plus a £1,000 home-working allowance. The role is based in the UK, with flexible working arrangements and regular meetings with colleagues from various locations.

About You:

  • Education to Degree Level in a relevant discipline
  • Suitable Data Protection qualifications/certifications and extensive knowledge of Data Protection legislation
  • Managerial/leadership qualifications evidenced through training or experience
  • Advanced knowledge of frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus, DSPT, ISO:27001
