About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Reward Manager to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our reward team, you will play a critical role in driving the executive reward process and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of remuneration committee papers and provide analysis and recommendations on executive compensation.
  • Manage the analysis and benchmarking of executive remuneration and benefits, including equity awards and other forms of compensation.
  • Develop and implement reward strategies that align with business objectives and support the achievement of company goals.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance, Investor Relations, Company Secretarial, Tax, and Global Mobility teams to ensure seamless execution of reward initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on executive compensation and benefits, including regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including the VP Reward, Total Reward, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in executive reward management, preferably in a complex medium to large organization or consultancy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think holistically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of UK executive remuneration regulation and remuneration committee work for listed companies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
