Tenant Engagement Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Tenant Engagement Specialist to promote community cohesion and engagement through active collaboration with tenants and residents across the borough. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote community cohesion and engagement through active collaboration with tenants and residents.
- Support tenants in meeting their tenancy obligations, taking enforcement action when necessary.
- Manage void properties efficiently, minimizing turnaround times and ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements.
Requirements:
- Experience in housing management, including rent arrears collection and estate management.
- A strong understanding of housing-related legislation, ASB management, and welfare benefits.
- Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £17.50 per hour as a PAYE worker or £21.25 per hour as a Limited Company contractor. We offer a supportive and forward-thinking work environment, allowing you to make a tangible impact on the community.
