About the Role

Jupiter Asset Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our Fixed Income team. As a key member of our Investment Management department, you will play a crucial role in executing our business strategy and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Lead Investment Managers to deliver commercial goals, driving scalable AUM and revenue growth.
  • Represent the full range of Fixed Income strategies in client interactions, including meetings, conferences, and conference calls.
  • Build strong relationships with Client Group teams and act as a primary point of contact for distribution and training.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key trends across investing and distribution, driving the long-term commercial strategy of Fixed Income.
  • Maintain technical fluency across all relevant products, articulating and positioning the concept of a range of products across Fixed Income.
  • Collaborate extensively with other investment directors and fund management teams to share information and best practices.
  • Own the full range of marketing collateral to ensure client messages are impactful and relevant.
  • Produce topical thought pieces on market and product trends.
  • Interact with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT to facilitate smooth infrastructure around products.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in investment or distribution, resulting in a strong understanding of investment-related roles and the investment landscape.
  • Familiarity with the Asset Management industry, client trends, competitor landscape, regulatory, and operational frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for presenting and tailoring the message based on client and audience.
  • Resilience in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
  • Organizational skills, capable of working to deadlines and multi-tasking.
  • Persuasive skills, demonstrating credibility through knowledge.
  • Perceptive skills, understanding perspectives and requirements of investors, sales, and clients.
  • Business building skills, understanding the sales process and ability to engage proactively.
  • Team player, working collaboratively across the business.
  • Technology proficiency, experienced in using various systems, applications, and software.
  • Language ability beneficial, particularly in German, Italian, or Spanish.
