About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sales Director to join our team at AXA Investment Managers. As a Sales Director, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our business in the UK Defined Contribution (DC) market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for the UK DC market, with a focus on expanding our institutional relationships and increasing visibility for AXA IM.
  • Lead the UK DC strategy, working closely with our Head of UK Institutional Sales and other stakeholders to achieve agreed sales targets and budget targets.
  • Manage and ensure interfaces to Marketing, Client Service, Product development, Finance, HR, and other transversal functions to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Coordinate and implement sales, relationship, and marketing activities for DC clients and prospects, including developing new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Work closely with the consultant relationship team to build profile with field consultants and develop strong internal relationships with the Investment teams and other relevant internal functions.
  • Ensure all client documentation is up to date and in line with Group and Regulatory standards, and adhere to AXA IM's Risk and Control Policy and standard policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant sales and client experience within the UK DC market, with a proven track record of success in institutional sales.
  • Excellent institutional sales skills, with a strong ability to identify business opportunities, initiate contact, and close new business.
  • Strong relationships in the UK institutional market and in particular the DC sector, with a deep understanding of investment markets and associated products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality presentations to a broad range of clients.
  • A self-starter with the ability to collaboratively work as part of a team, with a sales can-do and proactive attitude.
