About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Education Specialist to join our team at Arbor Education. As a key member of our Customer Education team, you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support to educational institutions in optimizing, using, and finding value from our Arbor Management Information System (MIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver online and in-person training sessions to ensure that customers have a comprehensive understanding of our system's features and functionality.
  • Design and deliver bespoke services to schools, Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), and partners, leveraging your professional knowledge and expertise to meet their specific needs.
  • Pitch and deliver training and consultancy services to users and partners, articulating the value and benefits of our system in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our system's functionality, features, and best practices, and communicate this effectively to customers to help them get the most out of their use of Arbor MIS.
  • Deliver managed services for schools and partners, including setup of new school years, assessments, behavior, custom reports, and other key tasks.
  • Own and maintain training materials, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in supporting customer learning and adoption.
  • Self-reflect on training sessions, providing feedback to the team on areas for improvement and outstanding actions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Travel regularly to national client sites and Arbor offices as needed.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and communicative Customer Education Specialist who is passionate about education and technology. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A driving license and a relevant background in the education sector, with a strong understanding of school processes and terminology.
  • Experience with financial systems, Arbor MIS, or other management information systems would be an advantage.
  • A positive approach to learning new things, troubleshooting potential issues, and providing solutions.
  • A friendly, eager-to-learn attitude, with a willingness to help and support customers.
  • A good sense of humor and the ability to inspire others.

Interview Process
  1. Phone screen.
  2. 1st stage with Customer Education Team Leads.
  3. 2nd stage with Claire Spencer (Head of Customer Education) and a Team Lead (will involve a presentation task).
