About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People Services Coordinator to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process and facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and transactional support across recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure new hires have all necessary resources.
  • Act as a point of contact for new employees during their onboarding process.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing updates.
  • Escalate complex queries via agreed channels to ensure effective line with agreed ways of working and service standards.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of providing transactional HR support within a diverse and unionised organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a shared service or telephone-based operation.
  • Eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Resilience and tenacity to see things through to conclusion.
