Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in the space engineering industry? Do you have a passion for bid management and proposal coordination? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team at Starion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end bid preparation process, ensuring timely and high-quality proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Management and Business Development Teams to ensure effective review and compliance with company processes.
  • Coordinate and participate in bid reviews to assess progress and suggest improvements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organization and with commercial partners to obtain necessary information for proposal submission.
  • Interview and collect technical content from internal staff, rephrase and reorganize content as needed, and schedule follow-up meetings for refinement.
  • Integrate technical inputs with additional content from reference documentation and past proposals.
  • Coordinate and circulate related correspondence and feedback.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting, and requirement management.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong time management and ability to work overtime when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize written content from diverse sources.
  • Attention to detail and proofreading/editing skills.
  • Desire to work autonomously and as part of a team in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with customer-focused communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and Salesforce.
  • Working experience in the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Background or experience in Sales and/or Legal.
  • Experience in risk assessment and project management.
