About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team at Starion. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid preparation process, ensuring that all proposals are submitted on time and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the bid preparation process from start to finish, including producing proposals, conducting reviews, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with the Bid Management and Business Development teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, resource management, recruitment, HR, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and project management/delivery teams, to obtain necessary information for proposal submission.
  • Interview internal staff to collect technical content for proposals, rephrase and reorganize content as needed, and schedule follow-up meetings for further refinement.
  • Integrate technical inputs with additional content from reference documentation or past proposals.
  • Coordinate and circulate related correspondence and feedback.
  • Work under tight deadlines and short time scales, with the ability to work overtime when required.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting, and requirement management.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong time management and ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to synthesize written content from diverse and concurrent sources.
  • Attention to detail, excellent proofreading/editing skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with customer-focused communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and Salesforce.
  • Working experience in/knowledge of the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Background/experience in Sales and/or Legal.
  • Experience in risk assessment and project management.
