Job Title: Proposal Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team at Starion. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid preparation process, from initial concept to submission. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our proposals meet the highest quality and standards, while also meeting the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the bid preparation process, including developing proposal content, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely submission.
  • Work closely with the Bid Management and Business Development Teams to ensure that all reviews are scheduled effectively and compliance with the company's bid and sales processes.
  • Ensure that all proposals are thoroughly reviewed and edited to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including sales, resource management, recruitment, HR, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and project management/delivery teams, to obtain and assist with information necessary for submission.
  • Interview internal staff to collect technical content for proposals, rephrase and reorganize content as needed, and schedule follow-up meetings for further refinement.
  • Integrate technical inputs with further content extracted from reference documentation or past applicable proposals.
  • Coordinate and circulate related correspondence and feedback.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field to the company's main business line.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting, and requirement management.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Time management and ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to synthesize written content from diverse and concurrent sources.
  • Attention to detail, excellent proofreading/editing skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, with a customer-focused communication skill.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Salesforce.
  • Working experience in/knowledge of the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Background/experience in Sales and/or Legal.
  • Experience in risk assessment and project management.
