**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager I to join our team at Starion, a leading space consultancy and space engineering services company. As a Proposal Manager I, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end bid preparation process, from producing proposals to submission, in compliance with our highest quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bid preparation process, including producing proposals, from a positive Bid/No-Bid Result up to submission.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including sales, resource management, recruitment, HR, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and project management/delivery teams, both within the company and from commercial partners, for obtaining and assisting with information necessary for submission.
- Interview internally identified staff to collect technical content for proposals, rephrase, and reorganize content when applicable, and schedule follow-up meetings with staff for further refinement.
- Integrate technical inputs with further content extracted from reference documentation or past applicable proposals.
- Work towards tight deadlines and short time scales, and be willing/able to work overtime if needed, mainly close to proposal submission.
Requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field to our main business line.
- At least 5 years proven experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting, and requirement management.
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite.
- Time Management and ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to synthesize written content from diverse and concurrent sources.
- Attention to details, excellent proofreading/editing skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Salesforce.
- Working experience in/knowledge of the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation.
- ITIL certification.
- Background/experience in Sales and/or Legal.
- Experience in risk assessment and project management.
