As an Event Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and converting sales enquiries and opportunities for the RCS. You will work towards the venue's monthly and quarterly budget, profitability targets, and deadlines, and collaborate with the team to maximize all revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and convert venue enquiries and sales opportunities of the Sales & Events Department.
- Generate and contribute to sales, achieving venues' monthly, quarterly, and annual budget, profitability targets, and deadlines.
- Coordinate commercial and internal events within the venue.
- Provide clients with the highest level of Searcys customer service and innovation, supported by detailed event sheets to ensure accurate delivery of clients' expectations.
- Manage and increase conversion of venue sales enquiries and revenue potential opportunities, contributing to sales which will achieve profitability targets and deadlines.
- Support client account development and lead key projects through the seasonal calendar.
- Create, complete, and have ownership of all Banqueting Event Orders (BEO's) – detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience within a similar role.
- Meticulous administration and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (internally and externally).
- Proactive and excellent time management.
- Fluent or bilingual proficiency in English.
