Commercial Sales Expert for Flagship Hospitality Event

Lipton Media, a leading events business, seeks a highly ambitious Commercial Sales Executive to join their events sales team in Central London. This role involves selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities across a flagship hospitality event that caters to the food, drink, and hotel sectors.
You will be fully integrated into the close-knit team, working towards personal sales targets for exhibition space and sponsorship with both existing and new customers/partners. This includes communication through telephone, face-to-face meetings, and social media platforms.
The successful candidate will support the Event Manager in accurate floorplan management and ensure that the CRM is always up-to-date and the prospect database constantly updated and fit for purpose. Building strong relationships with the show team: Operations, Marketing, and project coordinators will drive the event's success within the industry.
To excel in this position, you are expected to attend industry networking events and competitor events to stay updated on market trends, identify commercial opportunities, gather industry feedback, and enhance your sector knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- B2B sales experience of circa 2 years+, preferably from an event sales background or related to media.
- Hospitality sales experience is highly relevant for this role.
- A second language is a significant advantage.
- An interest in aesthetics/design is desirable.
- Experience closing deals and meeting targets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Face-to-face client meeting experience is highly desired.
