Job Summary

This Permanent role involves managing a talented team of Senior Social Workers across multiple service areas, ensuring the care and well-being of children remains paramount.

About the Role

  • Leading a peripatetic service, providing quality support to various social work teams and services
  • Managing workloads, prioritizing tasks, and allocating responsibilities to team members
  • Recruiting and growing the peripatetic service, developing team members through quality supervision
  • Ensuring team performance targets are met and objectives are achieved

Requirements

  • A qualified Social Worker with current registration and ideally a Level 5 NVQ Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience and knowledge across various social work teams and services, with transferable skills
  • A strong, resilient leader with a breadth of experience, looking for a new opportunity
  • Highly competent people management skills, ability to multi-task, and represent the service at a senior level
  • Previous budgetary control experience, ICT skills, and emotional intelligence
