Job Overview:

Northamptonshire Children's Trust is a leading provider of children's services, dedicated to delivering high-quality support and protection to vulnerable children and families. We are currently seeking a skilled Social Work Lead - Safeguarding to join our team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will lead our safeguarding team and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and families. You will work closely with colleagues and partners to develop and implement strategies that promote the welfare and safety of children.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team of social workers
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Working closely with other professionals and agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Post-qualified experience in leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Up to £6,000 recruitment bonus
  • Up to £8,000 towards relocation
  • Generous annual leave allowance of 28 days, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for part-time)
