Senior Social Work Position

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Social Worker/Decision Maker to join our team.

The role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality care and decision-making in relation to children's cases.
  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the service team, including workload management, staff supervision, and professional development.
  • To conduct case file audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance casework quality and practice.
  • To provide critical information to the Team Manager, contribute to the development of information systems, and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
  • To uphold the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and colleagues, adhering to organisational policies and guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Social Work Qualification or equivalent
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Certification from Social Work England
