Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of social need and risk to children, focusing on parental capacity and potential for change
  • Identify and respond to indicators of harm and risk, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve child safety and well-being, working closely with families and other stakeholders
  • Maintain professional competence through reflective supervision, research, and guidance
  • Collaborate with senior staff and managers to ensure effective delivery of services

Requirements:

  • Social Work degree or equivalent qualification
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families
  • Experience working with children, young people, and their families

Salary: up to £45,204 per annum
