About the Role

This permanent Social Worker position offers an exciting opportunity to work within our Fostering Assessment Team, contributing to the development and implementation of care programmes for children and young people.

  • Craft and implement comprehensive support plans, prioritizing the needs and well-being of service users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert advice and guidance to inform decision-making.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality written and verbal evidence in court proceedings, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
Requirements and Expectations

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a Social Work degree or equivalent qualification, registration with Social Work England, and a deep understanding of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
