About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care Court Team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable children and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough family assessments, identify social needs and risks, and develop effective strategies to mitigate these risks.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out comprehensive family assessments to identify social needs and risks to children.
  • Developing and implementing effective plans to address identified risks and needs.
  • Working closely with children, young people, and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and progress.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
What We Offer
