Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care Court Team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for working directly with children, young people, and their families to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive family assessments to identify social needs and risks to children.
  • Developing and implementing effective plans to address identified risks and needs.
  • Working closely with children, young people, and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and progress.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities. You will also have access to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
