Community Engagement Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Community Engagement Manager within our Business Growth Service. This position is essential for fostering a thriving environment for technology and digital enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere for our members. Your role will include:

  • Community Development: Nurturing a lively and productive environment that encourages collaboration among members.
  • Event Coordination: Organizing and executing a series of events tailored to the needs of the community.
  • Relationship Building: Engaging with members to understand their requirements and promote collaboration.
  • Resource Facilitation: Connecting members with relevant partners and business support services.
  • Feedback Mechanisms: Implementing regular feedback systems to enhance member satisfaction and service offerings.

Membership Management:

  • Marketing Outreach: Promoting the coworking space and attracting new members through various channels.
  • Onboarding Process: Guiding new members through the onboarding process and introducing them to community resources.
  • Member Retention: Developing strategies to keep current members engaged and satisfied.
  • Business Development: Generating new memberships and ensuring financial targets are met through additional services.
  • Conflict Management: Addressing and resolving any disputes within the community.

General Management:

  • Financial Oversight: Managing the budget effectively, including supplier management and member payment accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Community Coordinator to ensure effective support for members.
  • Membership System Management: Overseeing the online membership and booking system to maximize its capabilities.
  • Facility Management: Ensuring the smooth operation of the workspace, including facilities and equipment.
  • External Relations: Maintaining strong connections with the wider business ecosystem and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Passionate about member success and community development.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or demand generation.
  • Proven ability to manage customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Skilled in networking and connecting individuals and businesses.
  • Experience in event planning and community outreach is a plus.
  • Adaptable and proactive in implementing new ideas.
  • Basic project management and administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with technology and digital businesses is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic about promoting the region and its opportunities.
