Key Responsibilities
  • Community Management
    • Cultivate a culture of collaboration and productivity among members.
    • Plan, coordinate, and deliver event series to meet the needs of the community.
    • Build relationships with members, understand their needs, and foster collaborations among them.
    • Facilitate introductions to and collaboration with other members, partners, and business support services to support member needs.
    • Institute regular feedback mechanisms to enhance services and offers.
  • Membership Management
    • Actively promote the coworking space and attract new members through various channels.
    • Provide tours for prospective members and ensure new members are completing the onboarding process.
    • Implement strategies to keep existing members engaged and satisfied.
    • Generate new memberships and ensure revenue goals are met through additional services.
    • Address and resolve any issues or disputes within the community.
  • General Management
    • Ensure that the space is managed within budget, including supplier management, reporting, and monitoring.
    • Line manage and collaborate with the Community Coordinator to ensure that the space and members are supported effectively.
    • Manage the online membership and booking system, including meeting room bookings, new memberships, and access control.
    • Perform tasks associated with the smooth running of the space, including supplier management, facilities management, and mail management.
    • Maintain a strong relationship with the wider Lancashire ecosystem and business park.
    Requirements
    • You are passionate about customer and member success with a commitment to driving community, culture, and opportunities.
    • You have experience in sales, customer service, and/or demand generation.
    • You have experience of managing and achieving customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
    • You thrive off meeting new people, building networks, and connecting people and businesses to the support they need to make an impact.
    • You have some experience in events organisation and social outreach, or a willingness to learn these skills.
    • You are adaptable and dynamic in your approach, with a proactive and independent mindset.
    • You have some project management and basic admin and finance experience.
    • You have some knowledge of tech and digital businesses, and/or Lancashire businesses, as well as a network of connections.
    • You have an interest in and passion for Lancashire as a place, and are excited to encourage more people and businesses to do great things here.
