**Empathy & Resilience **- it is important within this role you are able to find the correct balance between empathy and resilience, knowing when to put aside personal feelings and focus upon the task at hand - you may be dealing with individuals who have experienced traumatic circumstances which can be triggering and must be managed with extreme sensitivity - you will need to be influential and motivate people to help themselves by encouraging positivity, empowering strength and determination to get better - the best part of your job will be seeing the impact of your help and support, being part of the journey to improved wellbeing and breaking barriers so individuals can start new beginnings.

**Articulate **- alongside your duty work and care assessments there is an expectation for you to complete legal reports for courts and the Ministry of Justice - you must be able to articulate yourself well, collating the necessary information in a concise manner - these reports contribute towards appeals for individuals who have been sectioned under the mental health act and need assistance in putting their side of events across to a mental health tribunal - your words and influence will make all the difference in these circumstances, so we will need you to be coherent and accurate within your report writing
