Senior Applied Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Psychologist to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessments, formulation, care planning, and brief psychological interventions to service users presenting with acute and urgent care mental health needs.
- Exercise leadership skills in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for service users.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice relevant to the role of working with people's complex mental health difficulties.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk assessment and risk management strategies.
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Working experience as a qualified applied psychologist within a Mental Health service, including a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and a range of clinical severity across a range of care settings.
