Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services and policies.
- Supervise and support junior staff members in their professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of service effectiveness.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Working experience as a qualified applied psychologist within a mental health service, including a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, and a range of clinical severity across a range of care settings.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice relevant to the role of working with people's complex mental health difficulties.
- Risk assessment and risk management.
- Registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
