Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Psychologist to join our Sandwell Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work in a fast-paced environment to provide psychological assessments, formulation, care planning, and brief psychological interventions to individuals with acute and urgent mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Applied Psychologist to join our innovative CRHTT team, which has successfully launched a pilot in EMDR. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with complex mental health difficulties, and contribute to the development of our team's psychological practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessments, formulation, care planning, and brief psychological interventions to individuals with acute and urgent mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of service users.
- Contribute to the development of our team's psychological practice, including the development of new interventions and the evaluation of existing ones.
- Provide supervision and support to junior team members, including psychological trainees.
- Participate in regular reflective practice groups and supervision to ensure high-quality care and support for service users.
