As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a team of 6 staff, reviewing work performed by other team members, appraising your team, and managing the workflow and portfolio of bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts clients. You will also be responsible for liaison with other departments to support with year-end work, corporation tax, personal tax, and audits. Additionally, you will have a portfolio of your own clients with some management accounts, VAT returns, and attendance at client board meetings to support with advice. You will also be responsible for learning and development on complex VAT areas such as retail scheme, partial exemption, margin scheme, group VAT, duty, and export rules.
