Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Job Support. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes and reduce stigma around mental illness.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a clinical psychology role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
